About Lucy

Picture
Lucy Crowe is an author and a farmer’s daughter, turned reluctant adult, who makes her home in her grandmother’s house-by-the-hill. Her debut novel, Sugar Man’s Daughter, was published in 2013 by Rainstorm Press, and her short stories have been featured – under the name C.E. Jones – in Downstate Stories, 365 Fiction and Wow Women on Writing.
Lucy’s life is made complete, i.e., hectic, by her work in firefighting and EMS; she is, and always will be, enthralled with the sound of sirens. She also works happily - and usually harmoniously - with several writer’s groups; she teaches CPR to anyone who isn’t frightened by the hands-on method, and she aligns her successes with the stages of the moon.
Lucy is blissfully married to Superman and thoroughly enamored of her three magical children. She is currently in training to become a better human companion to her lovely plume-tailed muse, Kitty-Boy.

"Crowe's voice is unique and unforgettable.”

- Tina D.C. Hayes, author of "The Petal Pushers" Mystery Series
